Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.

Jude 1:24

ow does one start when describing a Ministry? When I think about putting into words the call God puts on an individuals life, the first thing than comes to mind is "amazing!". The fact that the creator of the universe, the allomnipotent, life giving, Lord of Glory, has had a plan for each our life's since before the foundation of the earth is beyond putting into words. Why would the King of Kings and Lord of Lords have any thought for me? What has any of us done to receive one second of attention from God Almighty?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Jeremiah 29:11

he answer, I believe, to both questions is mercy. Not the kind of mercy that turns a blind eye to sin or tolerates wrong to simply avoid offending. Neither is it the kind of mercy that looks past destructive behavior because "God looks at the heart". The mercy of God always has purpose. As mentioned in the Epistle of Jude, He desires to keep us from falling in order to receive us in Glory. It was God's mercy that delivered our savior to the cross, enduring a death only due us, so that we might be seated with him in heavenly places. Through his mercy we are no longer without hope and without God in the world.

But now in Christ jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:13

t is through this revelation of God's enduring and enabling mercy that Songs Of Mercy was birthed. I would love to say that God spoke to me from a burning bush, or that scripture suddenly leaped from the pages of my bible and in an instant I knew exactly what the Lord intended...but I can't. And I certainly would not get very far claiming that Jesus had given me a "new revelation"..that's been tried. The revelation came gradually and was delivered through the songs the Lord has equipped me to write during my earthly walk with Him. The message is in the lyrics and, although not by my design, focuses on who we are in Christ, what we have in his name, and what we can accomplish in his power.

For we a God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:10

long with mercy, The Lord has enabled me to put the message Grace into the music of Songs Of Mercy. The Grace of God,like the Mercy of God, sometimes gets confused with liberality or permissivness. As a result it's either abused or considered a weekness. But just as mercy has a designed purpose, so grace equipes a believer for a desired result. It's not a bandage to cover sin but a mega vitamin that enables us to overcome. When God told Paul "My grace is sufficient for thee" in 2 Corinthians 12:9 I don't believe he was choosing not to heal the Apostle. On the contrary, he was providing him with the answer for his infirmities, physical and spiritual.kjhlkjhlkjhlkjhlkjhlkj
