I Will Rejoice

Blessed be God who has not turned away
my prayer nor His mercy from me.
In the midst of the darkness, He lights my path.
The truth of His word has me free.

He pulled me up from a horrible pit,
and set my feet on solid ground.
And has placed within my mouth a brand new song
even praise to a God who's grace abounds.
