You came to me in the darkness and you lifted my head once again.
You reached out your hand in forgiveness, cleansed me from all of my sin.
Yes and when I was down and defeated, you pulled me out of the mire.
Placed my feet on that rock of salvation. Filled me with hope and desire.

Now all though my sin still condemns me, as the enemy pours out the blame.
Your grace it is more then sufficient. And your mercy will always remain.
And though the trial just keep right on a coming, and the storms continue to blow.
Thru the strength you provide I will make it and be saved by the love that you show.

And all though I sure don't deserve it, I need your forgiveness again.
For when I use my own plans I stumble and when I look to myself I just fall.
For without you I can do nothing, but within you I can do all.
